FREIGHT & LOGISTICS
Ocean freight
Plan international cargo movements with the right space, route, and documentation.
A plan that starts with your cargo.
Ocean freight is often a practical choice for larger consignments and cargo that can travel on a longer schedule. Your shipment plan should account for the sea journey, port handling, documentation, and transport at either end.
When to consider this service
Containerized commercial goods, larger personal consignments, vehicles, and equipment may be suitable for ocean transport. Suitability depends on cargo dimensions, weight, condition, and the route. Ask our team about the options available for your shipment.
What we need to prepare a quote
Collection address and destination; cargo description and quantity; packed dimensions and gross weight; whether the goods are ready to load; your preferred shipping date; any special handling or restricted goods.
Preparing your goods
Confirm packaging and loading arrangements before collection. Keep an accurate inventory and have commercial invoices or other supporting documents ready where applicable. Customs and destination requirements vary, so discuss them before booking.
What affects the schedule?
Allow for vessel schedules, port processing, customs clearance, and onward transport. Transit estimates should be assessed for the specific route and are separate from guaranteed delivery dates.
